About me
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Colorado. I graduated with my Master of Social Work (MSW) from the University of Denver Graduate School of Social Work with a specialty in Family Systems. I then completed the Denver Family Institute (DFI) Marriage and Family Therapy Post-Graduate Certificate program to enhance my clinical and systemic skill.
I use two researched-backed couples therapy modalities: Emotionally Focused Therapy and the Gottman Method. With individuals, I use Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) and Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT) to help individuals examine their responses and find the “why” of their behavior so we can heal wounds and create change. I work from both a relational lens—with my Marriage and Family Therapy training—and a systemic, person-in-environment lens—with my Social Work training.
